The Internship Journal: Day Five

This is me trying to get work done on a Friday.

This is me trying to get work done on a Friday.

We’ve estimated that our friend Baricatto was nearly five years old, we never noticed it’s green specs until we cleaned the dust that diminished it’s beauty.

It was the end of the week and I was mentally not in the office so I made myself focus by writing a to-do list and getting it done before 12PM. Blaz and I had found really nice materials hidden behind the cupboards that we decided to order more samples of, we also continued our search and placed 4 additional orders of materials we thought would work well with wood and as a feature wall. Later, the materials chosen were organized in the specification sheet and sent over to Blaz. We also got word that we have another meeting with Client G on Friday so it was time to finalize on the materials and visuals. I asked Oleks, the resident Revit (Architectural program for design) expert, if he wouldn’t mind sharing the revit file of the project as I wanted to extract a sectional perspective of the Master Bathroom to create a visual for the client with all the materiality chosen. This way, I was prepared for the following week where I can finalize the Master Bathroom and focus on other aspects of the project, more specifically the details - I had requested to do detailed drawings and that should take up most of my time next week.

We found Alpinus here covered in dust behind shelves in the corner of the office.
